Van life was a dream for our family a long time in the making. We were looking for a convenient flexible platform to explore the USA. After 2 years of order delays we finally found “Moby” at the Mercedes dealership in Las Vegas. She was a difficult to find 4x4 170 Ext High Roof Mercedes Sprinter. The perfect canvas to create our van life. As COVID became a house hold word, we customized Moby with everything a family of 4 would need for weeks of off-grid camping. By June of 2020, when many were stuck in their homes we were living lake side in the mountains of Colorado. We grew closer as a family as we explored Utah, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana and Washington. However, as the world opens up, our travel plans for the next few years will take us beyond our shores, and it’s time to find Moby a new family.
